The Welland Soccer Club is thrilled to announce that registration for our Adult Summer League is now open! Whether you’re looking to reignite your passion for the game, stay fit, or simply enjoy some friendly competition, our league offers the perfect opportunity to do just that.
League Features:
- Multiple Divisions: Catering to various skill levels and preferences, including Competitive, Recreational, and Over-35 divisions.
- Indoor Facilities: Enjoy the game year-round in our state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor facilities at Youngs Sportsplex in Welland., ensuring weather is never a barrier to play.
- Seasonal Play: Our league runs throughout the year with Fall/Winter, and Spring/Summer seasons, each culminating in a playoff series for the championship.
- Certified Officials: Matches are officiated by certified referees to ensure fair play and adherence to the WSC Club Rules & FIFA Laws of the Game, with modifications for indoor soccer.
How to Join
Joining our Adult Soccer League is easy and straightforward. Whether you have a team ready to go or you’re an individual looking to join the action, we’ve got you covered.
- Team Registration: Team captains can register their squad through our online portal (PowerUp), providing all necessary information and payment. View our detailed team registration instructions.
- Individual Sign-ups: Solo players seeking a team can sign up through our “Free Agent” list, where teams can recruit additional players.
Registration Details:
- Fees: Find information on registration fees, which cover facility use, referees, and league administration.
- Deadlines: Stay ahead of key dates, including registration deadlines and season start dates.
- Equipment: Teams are required to bring their own game balls and uniforms for matches. The league emphasizes the importance of teams having matching kits for uniformity and team spirit. In instances where team colors clash, the league will supply pinnies to help differentiate the teams on the field. We are exploring the possibility of including uniforms as part of the registration package in the future, but this has not been finalized. Further updates will be provided as we evaluate this option.
