Discover the Wizard Elite Training Program

The Wizards Elite Training program is designed exclusively for dedicated players on our Welland Wizards Travel Teams (U9–U13) who are passionate about soccer and committed to elevating their game.

This advanced training experience focuses on individual skill development through small group sessions (maximum 15 players per group, limited to 45 total participants) that deliver focused, high-intensity training.

Program Overview:

  • Start Date: Wednesday, October 15

  • Duration: 8 Weeks

  • Session Length: 115 Minutes

  • Cost: $320

  • Location: Youngs Sportsplex (includes on-field and performance centre training)

  • Eligibility: Welland Wizards Travel Team Players Only

Each session includes 30 minutes of athletic performance training inside the SE Fitness Athletic Performance Centre and 85 minutes of advanced on-field soccer instruction.

Led by Our Technical Director – Stéphane Emard

The program is coordinated by Stéphane Emard, Technical Director of the Welland Soccer Club.
Stéphane is a former professional soccer player, certified performance coach, and founder of SE Fitness Athletic Performance Centre.

Having played professionally across Sweden, China, Lebanon, and Canada, and representing St. Lucia internationally, Stéphane now focuses on helping athletes unlock their full potential. He currently serves as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for Niagara College’s Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs.

Special Guest Coaches

Each week, Stéphane will be joined by an esteemed guest coach, providing players with diverse perspectives and professional insights. Guest coaches include:

  • Lucio Ianiero – Former Canadian Men’s National Team Player

  • Uche Agba – Nigerian Professional Footballer & Top Scorer in the Malaysian Football League Challenge Cup

  • Frank Dechellis – Niagara College Men’s Head Coach

  • Rob Lalama – Niagara College Women’s Head Coach

  • Andrew Currie – Niagara College Men’s Assistant Coach
