Welcome to the 2026 Wizards Rose Festival & Tournament!
With more than 40 clubs and thousands of players, coaches, families, and spectators expected throughout the weekend, we ask everyone to help us create a safe and enjoyable experience by following the parking guidelines below.
Please plan ahead, arrive early, and consider carpooling whenever possible. Local teams are strongly encouraged to use drop-off and pick-up arrangements to help reduce traffic congestion around the Youngs Sportsplex.
Tournament volunteers and parking attendants will be stationed throughout the facility to help direct traffic and answer any questions.
Complimentary Shuttle Service & Carpool Parking
To help reduce congestion at the Youngs Sportsplex, the Welland Soccer Club is providing a complimentary shuttle service throughout the tournament weekend.

A Sharp Bus Lines shuttle will operate continuously between the overflow parking area and the Youngs Sportsplex approximately every 30 minutes throughout the day.

Canadian Tire Welland (Rear Parking Lot Only)
Families are encouraged to carpool and park in the designated overflow parking area located behind the Canadian Tire store.
Important:
- Parking is permitted in the rear parking lot only
- Enter and exit via River Road
- Do not park in the front customer parking area
- Follow all posted signs and parking attendant directions
The shuttle will pick up and drop off participants directly between the Canadian Tire overflow parking area and the Youngs Sportsplex.
Parking Disclaimer
The Canadian Tire Welland parking lot is being made available through the generous support of Canadian Tire management.
Parking is at your own risk. The Welland Soccer Club and Canadian Tire assume no responsibility or liability for loss, theft, damage, or injury occurring while vehicles are parked on the property.
Parking Guidelines
To ensure the safety of all participants and visitors:
- Parking is permitted only in marked or designated parking spaces.
- Do not park on grassed areas, boulevards, fire routes, sidewalks, or neighbouring private property.
- Follow the directions of tournament staff, parking attendants, and facility personnel at all times.
- Please be courteous to our neighbouring businesses and residents.
- Expect parking delays during peak morning and afternoon game times.
- Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
- Overflow parking and shuttle service may be required during peak attendance periods.
- The roadway surrounding the fields will be closed to vehicle traffic throughout the weekend to provide a safe pedestrian corridor between the Sportsplex and playing fields.
Vehicles parked in unauthorized areas may be asked to move or may be subject to enforcement by property owners or municipal authorities.
Youngs Sportsplex

The Youngs Sportsplex serves as the main tournament venue and features all tournament headquarters operations, vendors, and the majority of festival and tournament matches.
The facility offers:
- Main parking lot
- Secondary rear parking lot
- Tournament headquarters
- Food vendors and event services
- Washroom facilities
For the safety of all participants, the roadway surrounding the fields will be closed to vehicle traffic throughout the tournament weekend, creating a safe pedestrian corridor between the building and playing fields.
Overflow Parking
Due to the large number of teams attending, overflow parking locations may be required during peak tournament hours.
Canadian Tire Welland (Primary Overflow Parking)
The Welland Soccer Club has received permission to use the rear parking lot of Canadian Tire Welland for overflow parking and shuttle service operations.
A complimentary shuttle bus will operate between this lot and the Youngs Sportsplex throughout tournament weekend.

Saint-Jean-de-Brébeuf Catholic Secondary School
The Welland Soccer Club has received permission to use the school’s parking lot during the tournament.
Please park only in designated parking spaces. Do not park on the grass or landscaped areas.

Located on River Road near the Youngs Sportsplex, RY Tool & Die has generously made its parking lot available for tournament participants.

Carpooling & Local Teams
To help reduce congestion and maximize available parking:
- Local teams are strongly encouraged to use drop-off and pick-up arrangements.
- Families travelling together are encouraged to carpool whenever possible.
- Consider using the Canadian Tire overflow parking lot and complimentary shuttle service.
- Please allow additional travel time during peak morning and afternoon game windows.
- Follow all parking attendant directions and posted signage.
Tournament Parking Attendants
Tournament volunteers and parking attendants will be located throughout the Sportsplex parking areas to:
- Direct vehicles to available parking.
- Assist with overflow parking locations.
- Help maintain safe pedestrian traffic around the facility.
- Provide general tournament assistance.
